Resophonic solutions for today's guitarist

Resophonic / Resonator Guitar Specialists in Wales

22 Oct 2016

This month I retired from Busker Guitars and will no longer be producing resonator guitars.

Over the last 8 years or so I have loved working with all the musicians, both amateur and professional, who were looking for 'that sound' twined with perfect playability in a pragmatic, workhorse instrument.

I've enjoyed hearing your CDs and watching your clips on YouTube, and even seeing a few of you live in concert.  And I feel privileged at having been a part of your creative process.

I've left up the website pages on History, Tips and Amplification.  And if anyone wants some advice on resonator guitars please feel free to contact me - robin @  I reckon I've spent over 1500 days at the work bench with my hands inside reso guitars!

I'm off on other adventures, catching up on the surfing and skiing I've been missing and to play more music!!!

One project I am undertaking is to teach and sell Appalachian Mountain Dulcimers and you can find my dulcimer website at

To close I thought I'd leave you with one of the recordings I've enjoyed receiving over the years - Swift Melon with "Feelin' Better Blues"
