Busker Delta
Guide Price £545
The Busker Delta is a steel-bodied 12 fret single cone resophonic guitar that tips its hat to the blues legends of the past. And is the inspiration for the creativity of the blues legends of today:

Gwyn Ashton playing his Busker Delta at a London gig. An acclaimed interational artist, Gwyn's powerful, raw playing style has won him many followers around the world.
" ...unlike many of his contemporaries Ashton does not resort to cliché, pomp and bluster, but lays down terrific riffs and inserts just enough light and shade to make him a leader in this genre. Add into this heady mix a more than useful songwriter and impassioned vocalist and he is a triple threat…this is top drawer stuff." - Blues Matters
By contrast here is Naill O'Driscoll from Cork playing his Busker Delta with a Celtic flavour, showing that reso guitars aint just for blues. The piece is called Shimmer Part 1 and Part 2
Naill with his Busker Delta.
The steel body gives the Delta a slight "edge" and an open natural reverb that the player can exploit. The 12-fret body provides solid bass, allowing driving thumb rhythms to be set against fingerpicked or bottleneck lead lines.
Each Delta has a slightly different finish on the body and neck. The outer surface is etched and lacquered - the inside steel surface (the sound surface) is left untreated and will naturally oxidize over time. See the "Buy it Now" pages for specific guitars.
